Beads, Springs & More
Have you got a ring that spins? We can fix that for you. As well as traditional ring sizing, we offer ring-spinning solutions, like beads, springs and re-shanks. A ring bead is where our goldsmiths add two small metal beads to the inside of your ring, to stop it from spinning as much. Adding a spring is another way to reduce ring spinning – this thin sleeve of metal sits inside your ring and grips the side of your finger. We can also replace some – or all – of your ring shanks, so the ring fits your finger better. So, even if you have the right ring size, beads, springs and re-shanks can be useful and help to make your ring more comfortable.
Ring Sizing adjustments
This is one of the most popular and important jewellery services that we offer, as jewellery is there to be worn and enjoyed. So, if your ring is too loose and you're worried about wearing it or it’s too tight and you can’t fit it on, bring it to one of our Thames Valley jewellery boutiques where we’ll be able to resize your ring to the perfect fit. To do this, we’ll use a ring sizer to measure your correct ring size. It’s always recommended to have your finger size measured by a professional jeweller as the size can vary depending on several factors, like time of day, temperature and medications.
